MCCM Architects, in association with Clark Condon Associates, collaborated closely with the Olin Partnership to carry their conceptual and schematic design into reality. As Architect-of-Record for this project, MCCM was responsible for design development, construction documentation, coordination of structural and MEP engineering services, and limited construction administration services. This multipurpose concrete, masonry, and galvanized steel pavilion serves as an covered classroom for nature classes conducted by the Friends of Hermann Park and provides protection from the elements and a place for informal gatherings and other activities where cover is desirable for park visitors. The pavilion includes restrooms, storage and a work area associated with the class activities.
